Capacity Building Workshop, Yangon, Myanmar, May 2015

Peter Holmes and Matteo Sandi delivered TradeSift training at a capacity building workshop on trade policy in Yangon, Myanmar, organised by RIS Delhi. Participants included government officials, NGOs, and academics. Other presenters were from the UNESCAP and the Asian Development Bank. The training was opened by the Indian Ambassador to Myanmar and funders included DFID. Myanmar is just emerging from a half a century of authoritarian autarky and is seeking expertise and advise in how to move towards openness and democracy.
